BARK FOR CLARK BECOMES DEMDOGS.COM
Canines launch new website for presidential campaign
|
Baltimore, MD (April 26, 2004) - A very successful organization of pets supporting Wes Clark for President has reinvented themselves as DemDogs.com. Bark for Clark, a self-organized group of canines and their human owners has continued their cause and works to brings honor back to the White House as DemDogs. They launched their website www.DemDogs.com this week to augment their grassroots movement.
“Pets of all shapes and sizes should be proud of our advancement,” observed Hawkeye Miller, former Chairpet of Bark
for Clark and acting Chairpet of DemDogs. “We were received enthusiastically in our Bark for Clark campaign and it is about time that our voices finally make it to federal lawmakers.”
DemDogs
is a group of obedient dogs, cats, llamas, goldfish and others (including their owners) who are committed to challenge the current Administration on issues related to responsible pet ownership. This includes federal initiatives promoting spaying and neutering, the continued support and education of service animals and local ordinances regulating responsible ownership and care for pets. DemDogs also endorses the federal support of the men and women in the nation's fire departments.
“This is a fortuitous opportunity to unite yellow dog democrats and the blue dogs, as well as other breeds and species of democrats. We have one mission - to change the leadership of American and bring honor back to the White House," barked Miller. "I remain committed to sharing the pet-voice with our nation and urge all animals to lend their bark, meow, chirp or howl to support democratic values in America.”
DemDogs is a civic organization supporting democratic values. DemDogs is not officially affiliated with the National Democratic Committee or John Kerry for President.
